Most IELTS apps hand you a list. NZT hands you a coach.

Lists don’t talk back. A coach hears your answers, reads your essays and marks your tests the way an examiner would, then tells you exactly what to fix before test day.

All four skills

Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in the real formats, from Part 2 cue cards to TRUE / FALSE / NOT GIVEN.

Feedback like an examiner

An honest band for each criterion, the line that cost you, and the few changes worth the next half band.

A habit, not a cram

A plan for today that fits in twenty minutes, a word every morning, and words that come back just before you’d forget them.

Every morning at 9:00

One word. Every angle.

Each morning brings a C1 word, the kind that lifts a band 6 answer, with everything you need to use it naturally in Writing Task 2 and in Speaking. Save it, and it comes back for review just before you’d forget it.

  • A British voice says it, spells it letter by letter, says it again, then uses it in a sentence.
  • The meaning in English, with Oʻzbek and Русский next to it.
  • Never the same word twice: every word you’ve had is left out of the next one.

Band 8 model answers

Listen to band 8. Steal the phrases.

Pick Part 1, 2 or 3 and a band 8 answer plays line by line: the next step up, natural and reachable. The phrases worth stealing are marked by kind, and any word is explained in English, Oʻzbek or Русский.

  • A fresh question every time, never one you’ve heard.
  • Band 8 phrases marked by kind: idiom, collocation, grammar, linker, vocabulary.
  • An interactive player: the line being spoken lights up, and any word shows its meaning.

The answer here is a sample written for this page. In the app every answer is new, read by a neural British voice where the server has one.

Speaking practice

Answer out loud. Get a band back.

Get a Part 1, 2 or 3 question, read aloud by a British examiner, and answer into your microphone. Feedback is back in under a minute. Ready for the real thing? Take a full mock test: all three parts, one band.

Your recording is turned into text and deleted at once, or you can type. Pronunciation can’t be judged from text, and the examiner says so.

Reading and Listening

Real formats. Real band tables.

A 13-question Reading passage in 20 minutes, a 10-question Listening section that plays once, and every answer marked with the official raw-score-to-band table, with the line that proves it.

  • TRUE / FALSE / NOT GIVEN, multiple choice and gap-fills, for Academic or General Training.
  • Listening with a voice for each speaker, and the corrections real recordings have.
  • Answers are kept as you go: close the tab and carry on later.

BPart of the appeal lies in the unexpected richness of urban landscapes. Parks, private gardens, railway embankments and tree-lined streets offer a far wider variety of flowering plants than the vast single-crop fields that dominate much modern farmland. Because different species bloom at different times, city bees often enjoy a longer foraging season, and some urban honey has been found to contain pollen from more than two hundred plant species.

1 City bees usually have a shorter foraging season than farm bees.

2 Some urban honey contains pollen from more than plant species.

Writing review

Send an essay. Get it marked.

Every day

It plans your day, so you just show up.

Each morning NZT picks four short things for you: the new word, the words due for review, one practice in the skill you find hardest, and a quiz. About twenty minutes, whenever suits you, with a reminder at the hour you pick.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it free, and what does Premium add?

Yes, it’s free. The free plan gives you every AI feature two or three times a day: 3 a day for new words, quiz questions, tips and hacks, tutor answers and model answers, and 2 a day for marked Speaking answers, mock Speaking tests, Writing reviews, Reading tests and Listening tests. The uses come back at midnight, your time. The word of the day, your word bank and reviews, history, progress and reminders are never limited. Premium takes the daily limits away: 49 000 soʻm for a month, and less a month for 3 or 12 months.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

In the app, under Premium. Pay by card with Payme or Click for 1, 3 or 12 months: it’s a one-off payment, nothing renews by itself, and Premium simply ends when the time is up. Buying again adds the new time after your current end date. Inside Telegram you can also pay 250 Telegram Stars a month: that’s a Telegram subscription, which renews every month until you cancel it in Telegram. Either way, Premium switches on as soon as the payment is confirmed.

I’m at band 6 or 6.5. Is NZT for me?

Yes: most people here score 6 to 7. Tests are set at real exam difficulty, while the words and model answers sit one step above you: C1 vocabulary and band 8 answers that are natural and reachable. The marking is honest, and it names the few changes worth the next half band.

Is there an app?

Yes, in two ways. Install NZT from your browser: on Android and computers press Install, on iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Or open it inside Telegram from the menu button in @swat_usat_bot. It’s one account everywhere, and reminders come on Telegram or by email.

Is the band score official?

No: only an IELTS test centre gives an official band. NZT estimates it the way an examiner would, criterion by criterion, and Reading and Listening use the official raw-score-to-band tables. Treat it as a strong practice signal.

Academic or General Training?

Both. Choose your module when you sign up: Reading passages, Task 1 (a chart or a letter) and the band tables follow it. You can switch any time in Settings.

Do I need a microphone?

For Speaking it helps, but it isn’t required: you can type your answer instead. Recordings are turned into text and deleted straight away.

Which languages?

The app is in English, Oʻzbekcha and Русский, and every word comes with all three. Feedback, tests and the tutor’s answers are in English, like the exam; ask the tutor to explain in Uzbek or Russian if you like.

Who writes the questions and the feedback?

Claude, by Anthropic. Every answer ends with the name of the model that wrote it. Your essays and answers are never treated as instructions: they travel separately from the prompts.

Can I take a full test?

Skill by skill, yes: a full Speaking mock test with all three parts, Reading passages with 13 questions, Listening sections 1 to 4, and Writing Task 1 and Task 2.
