NZT is an IELTS preparation platform at nzt.io: this website and its web app, which you can also install or open inside Telegram, and the NZT bot that sends reminders. This page says what is collected, why, and how to take it with you or delete it.

What your account keeps

Payments

NZT never sees or keeps your card number: Payme or Click take the card on their side and tell NZT whether the payment went through, with their transaction id. For Telegram Stars, NZT receives Telegram’s payment id. Payme, Click and Telegram handle the payment under their own policies. Payment records are accounting records, so they are kept even if you delete your account, but without your name or email.

Your voice

When you record a Speaking answer, the recording is sent to the server, turned into text with Whisper and deleted at once; only the text is kept. On servers without Whisper, your browser turns your voice into text itself (in Chrome this uses Google’s speech service). You can always type instead.

Claude

Questions, tests, words and feedback are written by Claude, made by Anthropic. To review your work, its text, never your name or email, is sent to Claude and the answer comes back. Your text travels apart from the instructions, so it can’t be turned into commands, and Claude runs with no tools and no access to files. Anthropic’s own policies cover what happens on their side.

Voices

Words, questions and Listening recordings are read by neural British voices made on the server, or by your browser’s own voice. Nothing you say is used for this.

Reminders

Your account keeps your time zone, taken from your browser, so that reminders arrive at the right local hour. If you turn reminders on, NZT sends one message a day at the hour you pick, with what is left in today’s plan: from the NZT bot on Telegram, or by email. You can turn them off in Settings at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ads. Your browser’s local storage keeps your login, your theme and language, and drafts of your essays and unfinished tests; logging out or clearing it removes them. If you install NZT as an app, your browser also keeps a copy of its pages and scripts, so it opens quickly on a weak connection.

Who can see it

You, and the platform’s admins when they need to help with your account: they see your profile and how much you practise. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers. Email is used only for password resets and, if you choose it, your daily reminder.

Taking it with you, or deleting it

In Settings you can download everything NZT keeps about you as one file, delete single items from your history, or delete your account, which deletes all of it at once, apart from payment records, which are kept without your name or email (see Payments). “Log out everywhere” ends every session.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
